I was saddened today to find out that a set of twins, who are in eleventh grade with my oldest son, lost their father today to cancer. The man found out quite recently that he had cancer, so it was a short illness, but a death that will leave a large void in their family.
My prayers are going out for them and their mom, who was his wife.
The twins will graduate next year without their father at their side and I know how difficult it is when your family is no longer complete here on earth--to be celebrating certain accomplishments, while mourning the absence of a loved one.
